MEETING WITH EUROPEAN PARTNERS. 16 May 2016

Modern global textile industry experiences a peak of production of printed fabrics, an interest to which has a cyclic nature and increases more or less once per seven years. The problem of choice of dyestuffs is of the most immediate interest for such modern textile company as Tirotex. Having in possession upgraded finishing equipment and using raw materials complying with strict European and international standards, it is essential to pay attention to the finishing products. Это связано в первую очередь с тем, что конечный потребитель должен быть уверен в экологичности и высоком качестве текстильного изделия из натуральных хлопковых тканей.

Tirotex, the biggest textile manufacturer among south-west CIS countries, chose its supplier of pigment dyestuffs and auxiliary substances long time ago. Our company has been cooperating with Minerva (Siretessile), an Italian manufacturer of textile finishing products, successfully and on a mutually beneficial basis for 15 years. Why mutually beneficial? The answer is evident. The point is that, purchasing the goods from the European partner, Tirotex uses them for production of textile articles. The Italian partner, in its turn, purchases some of these articles and sells them in Europe. They order medical textile articles, bed linen and raw fabrics. Such cooperation encourages not only the promotion of Pridnestrovian goods in Italy, but also guarantees high quality of products supplied by Minerva, complying with high European standards.

The right choice helps to settle several problems at once, but the main thing is the ratio of the price and the quality of dyestuffs. Quality means the whole of colour and fastness characteristics. A significant problem, with an increased focus on, is an ecological aspect. That goes without saying that a technology of dyestuff application must correspond to strict rules and regulations applicable at the factory. High quality products supplied by the European partner can guarantee this.

Within the scope of successful partnership and development of long-term cooperation, the leaders of Tirotex and Minerva arranged meetings both in Italy and the capital of Pridnestrovie. The last visit of the representatives of the Italian company, Mrs.Bianchin (Siretessile) and Mr.Taverna (Minerva) to Tirotex was extremely fruitful. The meeting was attended not only by the General Director, Andrey Mezhinskiy, but also the production manager of Tirotex, Vladislav Politov, the production manager of the finishing factory, Oksana Kozachek, the director of the finishing factory, Oleg Paschenko, the foreman of the printing section, A.Tkach and the economist of the resource planning department, V.Tsekhmestrenko.

They discussed the quality of products used in the finishing factory (Lambicol CL 60 thickeners for pigment print, Legante binder L-4, Lambicol 630 NEW emulsifier for pigment print. The specialists of the finishing factory raised a question about the delivery of pigment dyestuffs and asked the representatives to give recommendations for improvement of colour fastness of white pigment to washing without applying thermo-fixation.

Mrs.Bianchin and Mr.Taverna introduced new products – a printing paste for 3D-print Minerfoam 120, with a special decorative effect. The printing paste swells after drying and gives volume to a pattern. One can add pigment dyes into the paste to make it coloured.

They also discussed printing pastes with pearl effect, which were earlier bought from Minerva. Promoting the goods on the American market, Tirotex started expanding the range of curtain fabrics, in order to promote its goods in the American market. The company started developing designs with golden, silver and neutral pearl effects. It is possible to add yellow, orange or pink pigment into these pastes. A shimmering glossy print makes fabrics look rich and is used as a decorative non-standard element that attracts many customers.

The General Director of Tirotex, Andrey Mezhinskiy, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the representatives of the European partner, Mrs.Bianchin and Mr.Taverna: «The current situation in the international textile market requires an effective and open partnership and cooperation for the sake of general welfare. If we work alone, we cannot improve the situation. Consolidating our possibilities and resources, we will encourage further development and prosperity of our companies».
