BCI (BETTER COTTON INITIATIVE) is an international organization for the improvement of cotton, which advocates improving the quality of cotton production methods, including those aimed at protecting the environment and human health. BCI guarantees control over the use of improved cotton at all stages of textile production - from cotton growing to its processing into finished products. Now, whent Tirotex has become one of the key members of BETTER COTTON INITIATIVE, it has committed itself to supporting the global mission of the international organization: to abide by a set of rules in accordance with the Membership Principles.

Joining the BCI will allow Tirotex to further strengthen its position in the European, and in particular Swedish, sales market, which places orders for mass production and works exclusively with BCI members.

And as a conscientious member of BCI, Tirotex has developed and implemented special software at all stages of its production. It controls the movement of improved cotton grown by farmers using the BCI methodology throughout the production chain - in the production of yarn, fabric and then finished garment. Now, fabrics or finished products will be sent to the customer with a special label - “improved cotton”. Thanks to a responsible attitude, Tirotex is now side by side with other BCI members - world-famous brands such as Levi Strauss, Benetton, Ralph Lauren, Adidas, Burberry, Nike, Williams-Sonoma and many others.”

The cooperation agreement not only solves the problems of the production of ecologically improved high-quality cotton, but also establishes business relations between manufacturers, suppliers and brands with a worldwide reputation. So far, the Pridnestrovian company is the only one among neighboring countries - Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia and the Baltic countries - which is included in the BCI member register, which, of course, gives Tirotex a competitive advantage.
